
KNEUS is a society established by the Regional body of the Roman Catholic Church of the Agra Region, with a profound mission to enhance the well-being of the four states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, and Delhi. Its primary focus is combatting the devastating scourge of Leprosy and other communicable diseases. The very name "KNEUS" itself embodies the essence of its vision and purpose.
Since 1992, KNEUS has been a nationally recognized organization dedicated to improving healthcare in rural areas spanning Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttarakhand. Formally registered in 1992, its core objective has been the eradication of leprosy to the best of its ability. The organization's unwavering commitment and dedication to the cause of leprosy elimination have been pivotal in its significant accomplishments in the field.
Over the years, KNEUS has evolved and expanded its scope. In numerous regions, it collaborates with governments, communities, and various organizations to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable healthcare solutions to the people. KNEUS actively participates in facilitating the delivery of vaccines, essential medical services, healthcare worker training, and supervision.
Furthermore, KNEUS has broadened its horizon to encompass Tuberculosis (TB) control, serving as a private partner NGO in this crucial endeavor. Its multifaceted approach, which includes cooperation with a wide array of stakeholders, highlights its commitment to ensuring the health and well-being of communities.
